What is Costa Vida Design?
Costa Vida Design is more than just a jewelry brand—it’s a lifestyle born from salt air, ocean waves, and wild beauty. With roots in both Dominical and Uvita, Costa Rica, and Key Largo, Florida, our brand bridges two coastlines and one shared love: the coastal life.
Where It All Began
Costa Vida means “coastal life”—and that’s exactly what inspired it. The journey began in the Florida Keys, where the turquoise waters and tropical rhythms first sparked the dream of designing jewelry that reflected the easy, free-spirited beauty of island living. Years later, that dream found a new rhythm in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica—where lush jungles meet dramatic coastlines, and inspiration is as abundant as the sunsets.
Together, these two places shaped the heart of Costa Vida Design: a blend of laid-back island charm and wild natural magic.
Our Inspiration
Every piece is inspired by the places we call home. From the deep blues of the Pacific to the tangled greens of the rainforest, from coral reefs to star-filled skies, the natural world is our muse. We design with the intention to reflect these places, to capture a feeling of freedom, vitality, and soulful connection.
Crafted by Hand, Guided by Nature
Each Costa Vida piece is handcrafted with intention—designed in our jungle workshop in Costa Rica using ethically sourced metals and stones. We blend fine and semi-fine elements, including 14k–24k gold, sterling silver, and vibrant semi-precious stones. Often, the stone comes first—its color, energy, and natural form leading the design.
Every piece tells a story. No two are exactly alike, just like the moments that inspire them.
Sustainable by Nature, Connected by Heart
We believe in creating consciously. Our materials are responsibly sourced, often locally, to reduce environmental impact and support nearby artisans and family-run businesses. We regularly give back to the communities and ecosystems that fuel our creativity, especially through support for conservation efforts protecting Costa Rica’s wildlife and coastline.
